Left Banner

Notes for media buyers and advertisers

Submission of Creative

1. All creative must be received 3 business days prior to campaign start. brisbane.tv may refuse to publish - and without reason – advertising. Any advertising refused publication shall incur no cost to the advertiser.
2. Creative received within 3 business days cannot be guaranteed insertion until brisbane.tv legal and creative have finalised approvals and contacted advertisers.
3. brisbane.tv may amend creative without prior consultation or notice to the advertiser, or may refuse ad placement. brisbane.tv will not be held liable for any loss arising from failure to publish any advertisement or through failure to publish any advertising in the form submitted to brisbane.tv.

Positioning and placement of Advertising

1. brisbane.tv reserves the right to vary the placement of your advertising. brisbane.tv will endevour to match an advertisers placement request and will notify any advertiser/media buyer of any variation to your advertising placement submission. brisbane.tv will not be liable for failure to publish any advertisement as per an advertisers request.

Third Party Ad Servers

1. Advertisers using ‘third party’ ad servers have the responsibility to manage their own ‘third party’ ad servers, re-directs and submissions of creative. brisbane.tv will not be held liable for campaigns delayed in any manner due to ‘third party’ ad server issues or campaign management and re-direct problems.
2. brisbane.tv uses the OpenX AD Serving platform. OpenX is in use in over 100 countries worldwide and is advertiser friendly. Simply email your creative direct to brisbane.tv no less than three (3) business days prior to any campaign start. Contact brisbane.tv for details.

Click Through URLs

1. Click Through URLs – every click through URL must facilitate a return to the brisbane.tv website using the web browsers ‘back’ or ‘return arrow’ feature.

Alt text: brisbane.tv prefers not to use Alt text displays, whereby text appears when the user's mouse moves over the ad. Please prepare your artwork so any Alt text, if visible during a mouse over, is less then 50 characters.

Animation: We accept static, limited and unlimited looping.

Colours: Please ensure colours used for art work displays as clearly as possible and internet compliant. brisbane.tv is viewed on numerous platforms including mobile phones, laptops, work stations and flat screen TVs.

File format: Images can be supplied in GIF, JPEG, or Flash format.

File extensions: Please ensure any file extensions are spelt correctly and display the correct suffix (eg: a JPEG rectangle called ‘mambo’ should be called mambo.jpeg). All graphics must be supplied with their correct labelling.

URL: Please supply the correct URL to which your ad is to be linked.

TAX AND GST

1. All rates and charges stated by brisbane.tv will be quoted both exclusive of GST, and including GST on the total invoice amount. brisbane.tv issues a valid tax invoice relating to the supply of goods and services subject to GST.

CANCELLATION NOTICE

1. 100% refund - where cancellation of advertising is received in writing no later than 21 days prior to the start of any campaign.
2. 50% refund - where cancellation of advertising is received in writing no later than 14 days prior to the start of any campaign.
3. No refunds - where cancellation of advertising is received less than 13 days prior to the start of any campaign.
4. These terms and Conditions form part of our standard trading conditions.

WARRANTY AND INDEMNITY

1. Advertisers warrant that any material lodged via any means – including electronic – for publication by brisbane.tv (the Publisher) and its operating company, sydney.tv, complies with all relevant Australian laws and regulations, and will not give rise to legal actions against brisbane.tv, sydney.tv, its agents, employees and directors.
2. Advertisers warrant that nothing submitted to brisbane.tv breaches the relevant Trade Mark laws, Intellectual or Property Rights, Trade Practices Act 1974, Fair Trading Act 1987, Copyright Act 1968, State and Territories sale of goods legislation, consumer protection, the rights of individuals, and relevant defamation laws.
3. Advertisers, by lodgement of any materials, indemnify brisbane.tv, sydney.tv, its agents, employees and directors against demands, claims, liabilities and proceedings, arising in any manner whatsoever, from the publication of any material.

PRIVACY

1. brisbane.tv respects your privacy. We collect minimal information to assist us in best providing and promoting our services. brisbane.tv, sydney.tv, its employees and directors reserve the right to share your information with other goods and service providers so that they may email or contact you with offers.
2. If you choose to enter any email or SMS Premium mobile phone based competition, you agree that your personal information submitted can be shared with our competition partner and competition facilitators, and that they may in turn contact you with offers.
